Choosing the right battery charger is extremely important if you want your battery to serve you for a long period of time . The wrong charger can result not only in longer charging times, but also in a significant reduction in the life of the battery.

Our charger is suitable for all batteries of the AGM, LIfePO4, GEL, WET and STD types . It can be used for batteries in cars, motorbikes, yachts, lawnmowers, agricultural vehicles and quads.

9-stage charging mode

The Qoltec smart charger, through its 9-stage automatic charging mode with integrated desulfurization and maintenance stage, provides exceptional battery protection and allows the best performance .

The charging process consists of 9 stages :
Desulfurization of the battery - regeneration, helping to extend the life of the battery being charged
Soft start - start of charge with low current, preparation for bulk charge
Mass charge - constant current charge
Absorption charging - charges with a constant voltage
Holding charge - when the battery is fully charged, automatically switches to holding mode
Battery test
Regeneration - improves the life of the battery
Maintenance
Back-up - low current to maintain a full charge

Multifunctional LCD display

The charger has an LCD display , making it easy to view the charging process and key charging parameters. You can continuously monitor the status of the battery, check the current battery charge level, ambient temperature, battery voltage and current mode, making it easy, safe and reliable to work with .

Simple installation - robust housing

Connecting the charger to the battery is quick and easy, simply attach the clamps to the battery accordingly. The red connector is clipped to the positive terminal and the black one to the negative terminal . Any vehicle owner should be able to cope with this. Once the charger is connected to the power supply and the appropriate mode selected, the charger is ready for charging.

Repair function or advanced repair of your battery

Our charger is ideal for rescuing a battery that has stopped working as it should, this is usually the result of the battery being completely discharged and left in this state for an extended period. We may then notice that the battery is not accepting the charging current or is heating up significantly. The repair mode is an approximately 4-hour advanced recovery mode for batteries that have not been used for a long time, for example, or for sulphated batteries with very low voltage . With this function, the charger can help extend the life of the battery or regenerate it.

Two modes summer and winter

The charger has a built-in temperature sensor that automatically measures the ambient temperature and displays it on the LCD display. This helps to adjust the appropriate charging voltage according to the temperature and avoid both overcharging and undercharging the battery. The room temperature is 10-27°C. In winter mode below 10°C the charging current is increased - in summer mode above 27°C it is decreased.
