Safety and efficiency
This mobile hard drive rack has an improved, more efficient cooling system. First of all, the new aluminium housing draws heat away and provides additional stability. The large fan allows for a lower rpm while maintaining its excellent cooling performance, thus ensuring quieter operation.
Hard drives and speeds
The mobile rack is installed in a standard 5.25" slot and offers enough space for a 3.5" SATA HDD. Data can be transferred at a rate of up to 6 Gbit/s via a high-quality NSS (non-scratch SATA) connector (SATA I/II/III).
Even higher quality
The entire housing is made of special aluminium that ensures better cooling and, even without a fan, allows for stable operation of the hard drive. Additional rubber padding on the inside of the mobile rack ensures lower vibrations and reduced noise.
The latest security technology
The hard drive is easy to change thanks to Hot Swap and Plug & Play functionality, but the housing can also be locked in order to prevent against unauthorised access. An LED provides information about operation (power supply) and access rights (read/write access).
